The Holy Grail of Heat Protectors / Stylers !!!

If you're like me, [thick unruly, naturally crazy hair] then you probably use hot tools a TON [flat iron, blow dryer, curling iron]. In order for my hair to even look close to o.k. I have to use some form of heat to style my hair. Over time, this can become very damaging, and to keep your hair looking healthy and to keep a shine -- you MUST protect your hair from the damage heat causes.

There are many products in my hair care routine, I would recommend finding one that suits your hair type and problems. This post will focus on Proclaim Thermal Heat Styler, found at Sally's Beauty Supply for around $6. I am so glad that I picked this product up one day, I had been on the search for a heat protectant for a long time. I had tried tons of different ones, some made my hair greasy, some made my hair stiff after applying heat, some left a white residue after applying heat. All were totally gross, and a total waste of money. I was not a happy shopper :( Thank God I had birthday money left, I grabbed the product and read the bottle, "HELPS PROTECT HAIR FROM HEAT. Heat-Activated Styling Spray.  For use with flat irons, curling irons or heated rollers." AHA-Exactly what I need !

This product is formulated for use with dry hair, and make sure you don't use too much or spray it too close.

Why I love this product : It does EXACTLY what it says it does on the bottle. It protects your hair from heat damage, while adding body and shine. This product enhances the performance of the tool you use it with. I LOVE to use this product before I curl my hair with my flat iron. The curls are tighter, stronger and they last FOREVER !! The same results apply when you use it with a flat iron, you only have to apply heat to a small section ONCE-instead of running the iron down the same section multiple times. This product ALSO makes it easier to get the VOLUME you want, with LESS hassle. I have yet to use this product with heated rollers [as I still don't have any ;{ ] but I can only imagine the results !!
