It's easy to forget sometimes, that even the most beautiful people don't have perfect lives.
It's easier to believe that someone's life must be perfect--just based on appearance.
We see beauty on the outside all the time, making it difficult to remember to keep ourselves beautiful on the inside. We see celebrities on television wearing the latest fashions and carrying the latest bags with perfect hair & makeup. Forgetting that they have a team of people who keep them looking that way--we create unreachable & unrealistic standards for ourselves. Majority of the time, we are seeing these celebrities at their 100% BEST.. Meaning that we see them looking as good as they possibly can, this is how the media works and it's not going to change.

I will always love make up and hair stuff, I will always love getting ready and watchcing the transformation happen as I primp myself--but one thing that I refuse to lose sight of is keeping my inner beauty. Beauty on the outside is great & all, but if you're a horrible person who treats people badly--the outer beauty will start to mean less and less. I'm sure you've met someone who at first you didn't find so attractive, but after getting to know them better you suddenly find yourself more and more attracted to them. This my friend, is inner beauty.

So the next time you find yourself gazing in the mirror at how beautiful your hair looks, or how glamorous your makeup is--think for a minute, am I still this beautiful in the dark? Or, would I still seem this beautiful to someone who didn't know what I look like? In a world that's moving farther and farther into outward appearances, it's our job to stay beautiful on the inside <3
