SUPER SIMPLE & SUPER CUTE Newspaper Mani !!

First, I'll show you the finished product !

Don't you LOOOOOOVE it ? And it's super cheap and EASY !! 

Here's what you need:

Base Coat

Colour of your choice, I chose Alpine Snow by OPI [x2 coats]

Top Coat

Newspaper

Rubbing Alchohol

Container to dip your finger in

And a Brush is Optional. I used a Flat Shader Brush by ELF.

Here's a picture of my setup for this Mani.

Minus a little glass dappen dish that I used to dip my finger.

So here's the super simple, quick instructions to get you on your way to this chic vintage looking mani !

First, Basecoat & 2 coats of your chosen colour.

MAKE SURE YOU LET YOUR NAILS DRY 100% or the newspaper will peel the polish off.

Dip your finger into alcohol.

Take a piece of newspaper large enough to cover your entire nail.

Press it on firmly, brushing on more alcohol if necessary. I found that it worked well for me to dip my finger into alcohol and then press the newsprint on and brush alcohol on while holding it in place. If you allowed enough time for your polish to dry there are should be NO worry that you will smudge your polish, and adding alcohol makes it easier to pull the newsprint away.

And ta-da, you get this AWESOME, cheap DIY mani !!

Don't forget TOP-COAT !!
